The short version

How search actually works.

Most agencies keep this vague on purpose. Here it is in four moves.

01

Google has to trust that you exist

Your business name, address and phone number have to match everywhere online. Your Google listing has to be complete and active. This is what decides whether you appear in the map results — which is where most local calls come from.

02

Your website has to be readable

Fast, easy to use on a phone, and written so Google understands what you do and where you do it. Most websites say “Welcome to our site.” Yours needs to say what you sell and which towns you sell it in — in the places Google actually reads.

03

You need a page for every thing you want to be found for

Google can only rank you for a service or a town if there’s a real page about it. Every new page is another place you can show up. This is the biggest single lever for growing beyond your home town.

04

AI has to be able to answer with your name

More and more people ask ChatGPT or Google’s AI “who’s the best ___ near me” instead of scrolling through results. The AI has to be able to read your website and pull a clear answer out of it. This is a different job from normal SEO, and almost nobody is doing it yet. That’s exactly why it’s worth doing now.

What about links from other websites?

Google also counts links from other sites as votes of confidence. It matters, and it’s a real advantage over time. It’s also slow, and it usually costs money — sponsoring a local team, joining a trade association. We don’t include it in the plans, because we won’t charge you monthly for something that happens in bursts. When it’s the right next move, we’ll price it separately and you decide.

Plain English

What the jargon means.

If someone can’t explain a term simply, they’re hoping you won’t ask.

Google Business Profile
The box that appears on the right when someone Googles your company — photos, hours, reviews, the call button. It’s the biggest single factor in whether you show up in the map results. We keep it filled out, post to it regularly, add photos, and fix the changes Google makes to it on its own.
The map pack
The three businesses with the map that sit at the top of local searches. That’s where most local calls come from. Everything below it gets a fraction of the clicks.
Citations (directory listings)
Your business name, address and phone number listed on another website — directories, review sites, trade associations, the local chamber. Google checks those listings to confirm you’re a real business at a real address. More matching listings means more trust, and better map rankings. If your phone number is wrong on twenty of them, Google gets confused and drops you. We build these out over your first three months, then keep watching them. The listings we build are permanent and stay yours, even if you stop working with us.
On-page optimization
Rewriting the actual pages of your website — the titles, the headings, the words on the page — so Google understands what you do and where you do it. Most websites are written for nobody in particular. Yours gets written for the exact searches you want to win.
Technical SEO (site health)
The plumbing behind the website. Speed, phones, broken links, pages Google can’t read. It doesn’t win you rankings on its own. But if it’s broken, nothing else you do will work.
Schema markup
Hidden code that tells Google exactly what your business is — what you do, which areas you cover, your hours, your services, your rating. It’s the difference between Google guessing and Google knowing. It’s also how you get star ratings and drop-down questions showing up under your listing in search results.
Core Web Vitals
Google’s speed scorecard for your website. A slow site ranks lower. More importantly, people leave before they call you.
Internal linking
How the pages on your website link to each other. Done on purpose, it passes strength from your best pages to the ones you’re trying to get ranked. Most websites do this by accident. We do it deliberately.
Town & service pages
A page of its own for each service you offer and each area you cover. Google can only rank you for a town if you have a real page about that town. Every page we add is another place you can show up. This is how you grow past your home city.
AI search optimization
Getting named when someone asks ChatGPT or Google’s AI for a recommendation. It works differently from normal SEO — the AI has to be able to read your website and pull a clear answer out of it. We write and structure your content so it can. Very few agencies are doing this yet, which is exactly why it’s worth doing now.
AI crawler access
A small file on your website that tells AI tools what your business is and lets them read it. Without it, some of them skip you completely.
Geo-grid rank tracking
Instead of asking “where do we rank,” we check your position from dozens of points across the map. You might be number one downtown and invisible five miles out. This shows you exactly which neighborhoods you own and which ones still need work.
Call tracking
A tracking phone number on your website, so we can prove which calls came from Google, which came from ads, and which came from your map listing. Without it, everyone is guessing about what’s working.
Call recording
The same thing, with the calls recorded. You get to hear how enquiries are being handled. It separates “the marketing isn’t working” from “the calls aren’t being closed.” Those are two very different problems with two very different fixes.
Conversion tracking
Counting the calls and form submissions, not just the visitors. Traffic doesn’t pay your bills. Customers do. So that’s what we report on.
What to expect

The first 90 days.

Month 1 — Groundwork

Full check of your website, research on your competitors, your Google listing rebuilt, technical fixes, tracking installed, and a 90-day plan. Less you can see, more underneath. Everything after this depends on it.

Months 2–3 — Building

Content and town pages start going live. Directory listings build up. You should start seeing rankings move, and usually the first lift in calls.

Month 4+ — Compounding

Everything published keeps working and keeps adding up. This is where the gap opens between you and competitors who quit after three months.

Honest timeline

You should see real movement at 3–4 months, and real results at 6 and beyond. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is either lying, or about to do something that gets your website punished by Google. For context: across Google’s whole index, the average page sitting in first place has been online for about five years. This is something you build, not something you switch on.

Side by side

What’s in each plan.

Everything here is countable. At the end of the month, you can check it.

One thing worth saying plainly: nothing here is a promise of rankings. It’s a list of work. Anyone who guarantees you a position on Google is either guessing or lying — nobody controls Google’s results, including us. What we can promise is what gets done, and honest reporting on what it produced.

Not included

So there are no surprises.

All of these are available. They’re just quoted separately instead of being absorbed into your monthly plan — that’s how the plan price stays honest and stays the same every month.

Why we’re not the cheapest.

Agencies in the US average around $99 an hour. So a $500-a-month package buys you about five hours — a report and a couple of articles. The way those companies make it work is volume: hundreds of clients on the same templates. Google’s own rules say mass-produced content and bought links can cost you your rankings entirely. And Google is clear that the risk lands on you, the business owner, not on the agency. Cheap SEO isn’t a smaller version of good SEO. It’s a different thing that happens to share the name.

Now the prices.

No quotes, no discovery call required, no sizing you up first. Every plan and every add-on, with the numbers on the page.
